It was short, but very cute. It's a book that you can read very quickly. Sometimes I worry a little bit about reading the super short stories, because with the length, there's no time for character development. However, since this is about two people meeting up after a separation, I didn't mind that. I recommend this book.Product details

This is a short story packed with emotion and action. There are no big reveals since it's obvious what the problem is between the two main characters, but it is revealed to the heroine in a logical and believable way. It was a great airplane read.
Absolutely delightful novella/short story. Sexual content = hugs, kisses. Violence = H protecting h from ruffians. Very clean. Loved the HEA. Story about a wounded soldier trying to put life back together without burdening the woman he loves could be set in any era - applicable for today.
While I don't usually choose to read in this historical era, A Christmas Reunion is one of those timeless romances once regularly found in women's magazines. A quick enjoyable few moments of two people finding their way back to each other through a maze of foolish pride. We need more heartwarmers like this!
Another wonderful short story by Donna Hatch! I read it this morning and of course wished it was longer. I can't wait for more from her! Perfect, clean historical romance! I would recommend to everyone!
One hundred percent predictable from about the third paragraph, and so short that there's no time for any dialog beyond the basic cliches needed for this plot. Even as short stories go, this one was thin. Sorry, I just can't agree with everyone else that this was 5 stars - not novel enough, not enough character development. In its favor adequately well written, no glaring errors in proofreading, copy editing or continuity.
He thought so little of her that she would believe in more superficial things then in his love. She was way too forgiving that he thought so little of her. He was a jerk and wasn't worth her love considering he didn't think she was worth more than dances and acting like an air-head.
What I really liked about this one was that it was short and sweet--and totally adorable. The holidays are a busy time and it's nice to sit down for a few minutes to put my feet up and read a darling story in one sitting.
I must admit, I was really mad at Bennett at first. He wrote a devastating letter to his betrothed, telling her that he'd wed another while at the hospital, recovering from a war injury. Really?? Of course, Emily was heartbroken. Time passed and their paths crossed again. The truth was revealed and a decision has to be made.
It's not long enough to really delve into the characters and storyline, but it's a perfect snippet.
